The fact that he has Clinton #2 on the ropes only speaks to the poor shape that the struggling Democratic party is in.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1582705871033832709.post-85694493667279223052008-01-22T19:55:00.000-05:002008-01-22T19:55:00.000-05:00I meant "dem-leaning" in the first paragraph LOL.....I meant "dem-leaning" in the first paragraph LOL...Freudian.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1582705871033832709.post-81162773413547718602008-01-22T19:53:00.000-05:002008-01-22T19:53:00.000-05:00Ha! I was -- key word was -- a dem-leaving independent, content with support any of the 3 major Dem noms this year because I thought all were very good Prez choices. Not anymore.

Committed my vote to John Edwards back in '04 because I liked him then. When I learned more of Obama and his 11 years legislative history and personal stuff, I thought "wow! like this guy, consistent, very smart Harvard guy bur grounded." I still believe Edwards would be great, so I've been hoping for an Edwards/Obama or Obama/Edwards ticket -- and would have supported Hillary if she won...but after her campaign's shenanigans with the lying, race-baiting, nastiness? I'm out.

If the Dems don't deliver some combo of Edwards/Obama? Or one of them with anyone-but-Billary? I may vote for a Republican pres.

Her shrillness, dealing with Mid-East and other foreign dignitaries on our behalf? No way.

She and her dirty campaign have alienated me from the party--and I have little faith in her divisive, twisted manner allowing real progress to be made internally or repairing our tattered foreign relations.

Edwards and/or Obama are our country's best hopes and she's in the way of a fresh start.

So don't believe what you read about African-American females having a tough choice -- (thank you race-baiting media companies). I'm a middle-class AAF who's been very clear-headed about voting for John Edwards from the start, with plans to earnestly support whatever Dem got it...until Hillary and Bill crossed the line of lying, old-school-twisted political tripe. But what could people expect though from Mr. "I-did-not-have-sex-with-that-woman." Disappointing, but oh well. Our country's loss if THEY win.

If it's not Edwards or Obama? Chances are high, with McCain out front, that I'm voting Republican.

Their B.S. can't stink any more than the crap the Clinton's have dished out this election season. Not a bit.

Signed

Turned-Off Moderate IndieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
